EPK:
Few people meet their writing partner and the love of their life at a high school assembly, but Gabriel Castellar and Crystalla Gonzalez are anything but ordinary. Gabe, a talented guitar player, and Crystalla, a phenomenal singer, bonded over their love of Paramore, No Doubt, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers and decided to start playing together. Since 2011 they have been bringing their unique blend of rock, punk, blues, and funk to New York City, first with LTrain and now with No Grudges.
No Grudges was born in the depths of the pandemic. While quarantining together in the apartment they shared, they worked on processing their breakup with L Train. Together, they decided the name No Grudges best represented their fresh start and soon wrote songs that spread a positive message like "To the Top" and "Put It Together."
No Grudges has a guerrilla marketing style. In an era where musicians have to fight to be heard, they have used creative ways to build their following. They regularly post covers and original songs on their YouTube channel and Instagram. They play free shows in NYC's parks, and they make the rounds of established and upcoming venues.
They are currently in the studio working on an EP to introduce No Grudges to the world.
